[When the video feed starts, it's too dark to make out much of anything. It's hard to tell where the feed is even coming from, and the only sign that there is anyone around is the sound of rustling in the background...like wings flapping as something (or a lot of somethings) flies around in close quarters.

Then, several pairs of eyes start to glow purple in the gloom as a Galvantula comes into focus, her furry body jumping with bits of static that brighten the darkness just enough so whoever is actually making this video can be seen. Just before his face comes into view he starts to laugh, cackling until the feed finally reveals one Jimmy Two-Shoes seated on the floor of a balcony with his long legs threaded through the rungs of the side of the staircase. Everything looks very old, broken down, and quite honestly spooky in here, which is exactly what he wants.]

Gooood morning Johto! I hope you guys know what day it is, because things are about to get real SPOOKY around here!

[Jimmy laughs again as the Galvantula steps just a bit closer to provide more light. It's clearer now that Jimmy's in an old house of some sort with creaky floorboards, drafty windows, and cobwebs covering everything in sight. There are also a lot of Pokemon hovering in the background too- Noibat, Phantump, Zubat, and the like. Perched on his shoulder is a very grumpy looking Murkrow with a scratch on her beak who turns her head to pull at the unruly feathers along her wings now and then as Jimmy talks.]

It's the first day of October, which means we've only got 30 days until Halloween! Us guys from the Eve's Garden Circus have got lots of spooky, scary tricks and treats planned for you guys! It's been a lot of work getting everything put together, but I think you'll find it all to be terribly terrifying!~

[WELL if anyone's been wondering where Jimmy's been hiding all September, now you know. Haunted Houses don't scarify themselves, you know.]

But we're still not done yet! We're gonna need a lotta elbow grease to get things as spooky as they can be for Halloween! If anybody wants to come help out, we'd love to have some extra hands over here! The Haunted House is in the same place it was last year, the spooky mansion on the hill in Goldenrod!

Let's make this Halloween even spookier than it was last year!

It was super spooky! I wish you coulda' seen my costume! I was dressed up as a scary scarecrow!

Scarecrows aren't that scary. What're you gonna be this year?

The one I was sure was! I'll hafta see if I can find a picture to show you.

And I'm...not sure yet, actually! I'm gonna talk to Envy real soon though to try to think of something. I'm gonna need to hurry if I want something to wear!

We should take lots of pictures this year! Of the house too. It looks really good.

_{[She pauses at the question though. CONTEMPLATION.]}

I don't think I've decided yet. Maybe I'll be a pokémon. Some of them are pretty scary.

Oh yeah, totally! I've got some friends who aren't gonna be able to make it this year, so I wanna make sure they'll get to see everything too.

Yeah, Nowi suggested I dress up as a Pokemon, too! There sure are lots of ghost types n' stuff to choose from...it's just deciding on one that's the hard part.

Did you hear about Banette? I think those are really creepy! They're the spirits of dolls that kids threw away. Or at least that's what the dex says. But they can't all be that.

Yeah, I've heard of them! I think those have gotta be some of the creepiest Pokemon around if you ask me, actually. Sometimes I think a lot of what's put into the Pokedex about ghosts are urban legends...but you never know what might actually be true.

But the dex is supposed to be true. It's not like we have info anywhere else.

I don't think I want to have a ghost type. It seems weird. If they really are ghosts.

I dunno...I guess it's kinda hard to really tell. I mean, I have Spooky and he seems okay...and I've actually met ghosts before, and they aren't so bad! Like, real ones, not Pokemon.

Really? No way.

_{[That really clearly means to tell her more, cause woah??]}

Yes way! My friend Beezy had some trouble with a ghost that was in his house once. Turns out that he was pretty cool, though!

Did he keep his personality and stuff? Could he remember when he was alive?

Yeah, he could! That's how it is with most ghosts, really.

[Though he can't really say how ghosts wind up in Miseryville...especially not when all of the residents are already dead. Maybe it's just a more advanced form of misery.]
