[When the video feed starts, it's too dark to make out much of anything. It's hard to tell where the feed is even coming from, and the only sign that there is anyone around is the sound of rustling in the background...like wings flapping as something (or a lot of somethings) flies around in close quarters.

Then, several pairs of eyes start to glow purple in the gloom as a Galvantula comes into focus, her furry body jumping with bits of static that brighten the darkness just enough so whoever is actually making this video can be seen. Just before his face comes into view he starts to laugh, cackling until the feed finally reveals one Jimmy Two-Shoes seated on the floor of a balcony with his long legs threaded through the rungs of the side of the staircase. Everything looks very old, broken down, and quite honestly spooky in here, which is exactly what he wants.]

Gooood morning Johto! I hope you guys know what day it is, because things are about to get real SPOOKY around here!

[Jimmy laughs again as the Galvantula steps just a bit closer to provide more light. It's clearer now that Jimmy's in an old house of some sort with creaky floorboards, drafty windows, and cobwebs covering everything in sight. There are also a lot of Pokemon hovering in the background too- Noibat, Phantump, Zubat, and the like. Perched on his shoulder is a very grumpy looking Murkrow with a scratch on her beak who turns her head to pull at the unruly feathers along her wings now and then as Jimmy talks.]

It's the first day of October, which means we've only got 30 days until Halloween! Us guys from the Eve's Garden Circus have got lots of spooky, scary tricks and treats planned for you guys! It's been a lot of work getting everything put together, but I think you'll find it all to be terribly terrifying!~

[WELL if anyone's been wondering where Jimmy's been hiding all September, now you know. Haunted Houses don't scarify themselves, you know.]

But we're still not done yet! We're gonna need a lotta elbow grease to get things as spooky as they can be for Halloween! If anybody wants to come help out, we'd love to have some extra hands over here! The Haunted House is in the same place it was last year, the spooky mansion on the hill in Goldenrod!

Let's make this Halloween even spookier than it was last year!

[North didn't notice the broadcast on the network but while his travel companions have been excited about buying tickets he's been doing research and has some concerns and questions.]

Yup! This'll be my second time helping out, but first time actually running it! It's been a whole lot of work, that's for sure.

I bet. It sounds like you've really thought it through.

[His tone is very much in the tone of "Dad pre-screening a sleepover friend," but it's friendly enough.]

Me and a couple of my teammates are hoping to be able to get up there in time to see it, but I've got a couple things I'm a little worried about.

Oh yeah?

[Worried? Well, that's a new one.]

Well if you got any questions, shoot 'em my way! I'll be more than happy to answer.

Well, for one thing my starter is a little...

[...Well, he's little.]

...Young, usually, for this kind of thing. I'm just a little worried about it being too scary for him, but I don't want to leave him out entirely.

That's no problem! We've got a section set aside that isn't as scary as the main part of the house. It's got all the fun of the rest of the Haunted House...juust without as many real big scares.

[A few tiny spooks here and there, maybe, but nothing major.]

[North perks up a little bit at that. So Rascal can have fun after all.]

That sounds perfect, he'll love it. Do we need to get special tickets for that part as well as the main house?

Just make sure to remind us when you guys get to the house before you actually go in. We'll make sure to let all the other scare actors know that you'd like to go on the other path. So no special tickets, but we'll be selling the regular tickets to get into the House and Maze up at the front.

So we can do the not-so-scary path one night and then the scary path another night?

[...Is that enough warning for Carolina...

Sure thing! I'd suggest that everybody do that, just so you can see as much of the House as possible.

When you get there, just ask for Jimmy Two-Shoes! I'll take good care of you guys.

...Which leads me to my last concern. I'm sorry to be the no-fun guy about this, I hope you don't mind.

[Jimmy just snickers, shaking his head.]

You see, the team I was on are kind of used to high-tension, combat-ready scenarios... I was wondering if we could maybe walk the scary path at an off-time first so we have an idea what to expect to cut down on the tension... or if you think taking the not-scary path first will be close enough.

[North you may be downplaying the danger a little...]

Huh...I think you guys should be okay with the not-scary path, at least...but if you're really worried, I think we can try to work something out.

[It's his job to make sure everyone is safe and happy, after all.]

I appreciate it. I know my buddy York is really excited for this, I just want to make sure we can all have a good time.

[and not... have to bail anybody out of jail...]

So you're with a circus? Does that mean you've got shows that you do when it's not halloween season?

I hope he enjoys it, then! And yep, that's right! We usually try to have at least one or two shows every month right here at the big top in Goldenrod. Sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more, depending on what's going on.

...Ooohh haha, sorry. All my skills aren't exactly geared toward performance art. My friends might be interested, though. They're a lot more show-offy than I am.
