[It's around noon and it's slightly cloudy out, but regardless Jimmy can be seen standing just outside of a circus tent standing prominently in the background. In his hand not holding the Gear are a two juggling pins, and standing in front of him are a Houndour and a Herdier, watching him expectantly.]
We've been practicing some stuff for the next act all morning, and I thought it'd be nice to take a break and see what everyone's up to today! I haven't felt anymore earthquakes, so that's good...so hopefully they're all gone, maybe?
[He shrugs with a half smile, tossing one of the pins. The Houndoom jumps quickly, catching it in midair.]
But I actually do got a question! Do any of you guys know any real spooky, scary stories? Or maybe scary stuff that happened to you, but turned out okay in the end?
[Not that he's saying people are obligated to share, but he's really got to learn some tricks to being scary in the next few days...cause gracious he's not.]
I've got some! I've met a ghost before! He was pretty cool though actually, once we got to know him. Kinda weird...but still pretty cool.
[Aand there goes the other pin, which the Herdier catches as well with a little difficulty, wobbling into the Houndoom's leg.]
---
[Anyone around the center of Goldenrod today might spot Jimmy practicing with his Pokemon not far from the circus tent. As opposed to earlier, he has his Furret and his Breloom out, speaking to them eagerly and gesturing with his hands as he does so.
Choosing to stay and watch a while will reveal some rather...interesting balancing acts that Jimmy is trying to pull off with the two, but staying long enough might just earn a sight that looks something like this, at least until the Furret sneezes and the entire tower comes toppling to the grass in a heap.]

Well. I wouldn't exactly say it turned out well at all, apart from the fact that it ended, but until very recently I was possessed by a demon. Is that scary enough for you?
[Jimmy...]
So what happened?
[ Oh boy. Story time. ]
I should preface this by saying that I know this particular demon. That he had, indeed, been a thorn in my side for several months prior, and that I thought I had been well rid of him.
[ He laughs bitterly. ] That was too good to be true, I suppose. Because you see, a few days later I was minding my own business [ well, sort of ] when I felt this - well, a sort of jolt, I suppose you'd call it, inside my head. As though something had slammed into the back of my brain. This was, of course, the demon announcing his return in the most unpleasant way possible.
After that I believe I was out of commission for a bit while the demon decided it was a jolly good idea to walk around in my body. But when I found out - do you know what it's like to look in the mirror and see a great bloody dragon face staring back at you? Because if not, I suggest you keep it that way.
And so for the next several months... well, I'm not sure you want to hear about the horrors he put me through.
[ It wasn't that bad, Valmont. Stop being a drama queen. ]
[The weird thing is that Jimmy's best friend is a demon, though not necessarily a dragon, so this isn't quite as alarming as it should be. ...That, and the demons he knows actually don't seem to have the power to possess people. Or at least...the one he knows the best is simply too lazy to.]
So how'd you actually get him out of you?
I was able to take control now and then, but far too infrequently for my liking. Often when it served some purpose for him, such as when he'd decide he'd rather hide in my head and let me deal with one of his accursed demon siblings yelling at him. Did I mention he comes from a family of eight?
As for how I got rid of him. [ Not that Valmont himself had much to do with it. ] There's a certain... adversary of mine, shall we say, whose family has some knowledge of magic. And I've got no idea why they didn't do this earlier and save me a great deal of trouble, but they finally were able to use a spell to exorcise him from my body. You cannot imagine what a blessed relief it is to be alone in your own head. [ He sternly points at the screen. ] Try not to get possessed by a demon if you can ever avoid it, would you? It's not a pleasant experience.
Well, I don't plan on it, but I will!
[Jimmy Two-Shoes is nothing if not a man of his word.]
That is some pretty scary stuff, though. Maybe now you'll know what's happening if a demon tries to possess you again so you can try to avoid it!
[But can one really avoid such a thing? We just don't know.]
It seems unlikely that it will ever happen again; the demons have all been sealed away - permanently, as far as I've been led to believe. But I suppose you're right. Should it happen again, I will at least be equipped to deal with -
[ A horrible thought strikes him. ]
You wouldn't know if that sort of thing ever happens in this world, would you?
I've read a little about them in my Pokedex before...I think there's one that does something like that called Shedinja?
But I don't think it really can possess somebody.
[Just........potentially steal your soul.]
Looking to avoid something that might be able to do that, more like. Ghosts, you say? I don't believe I've ever had any dealings with ghosts. I think I'd prefer to keep it that way.
[ He files away the name Shedinja for later reference. ] Well. You've been greatly useful, Mr...? [ It's not a thank-you, but it's as close to one as Jimmy's going to get. ]
[And what is known is...told by the people who have survived their encounters with them, it would seem.]
Oh, I'm Jimmy, Jimmy Two-Shoes!
Jimmy... Two-Shoes. [ Valmont repeats flatly. ] No. I refuse to believe that is your real name. "Vanellope von Schweetz" was bad enough, but I cannot imagine anyone's actual last name being "Two-Shoes".
[ It really is his actual last name, isn't it. Dear god. ]
But...that is my last name! Jimmy Two-Shoes! It's been that way for as long as I can remember.
You're actually serious. What is in the water where you people come from? Please at least tell me you and Miss von Schweetz are from the same world. [ He doesn't think he can handle two independent worlds that both have ridiculous naming sense. ]
Um...no, there isn't anyone else here from Miseryville. It's just me!
[..Which is a little saddening, admittedly, but he's not here to talk about that.]
[ Forget it. Just forget it. He's done questioning these things. Jimmy could tell him that his evil twin Johnny Three-Socks is here too and Valmont wouldn't even be surprised anymore. ]
Well, Mr. Two-Shoes. [ He has to make a conscious effort to keep a straight face as he says the name. ] It's certainly been a pleasure. Should I ever desire to know more about the ghosts in this world, I shall contact you posthaste.
Sounds great! It's nice to meet you too, sir! ...What's your name, by the way?
[ ...Speaking of proper manners. He really has to stop assuming that everyone here will already know who he is. That's what happens when you step outside the criminal sphere, he supposes. ]
How rude of me. The name is Valmont. [ He inclines his head toward the camera. ] Charmed.
