001 | Video/Action for New Bark
[When the feed begins, anyone tuning in to the Network is going to be graced with a nose curiously sniffing at the 'Gear, which nearly drowns out the barely detectable sound of someone cheerily humming to the ever present background music that happens to accompany New Bark Town and just about everywhere besides. The humming stops before the creature behind said nose is gently pulled away, revealing the cheery face of a boy who couldn't be much older than 15. He sits with the 'Gear held against his knees, a bright, gap-toothed grin on his face as he shifts into a more comfortable position with his back to a tree.
Sitting in his lap is a rather fluffy Electrike who seems overly curious with just about everything the boy is doing. So much so, in fact, that he has to put a hand on the Pokémon's head to get him to sit still long enough so he can talk.]
Beezy! Heloise! Are you guys around? Can you hear me-?
[The Electrike lets out a low, playful growl and bumps his head against the bottom of the boy's chin, causing him to laugh and trial off before he can continue.]
Heheh, looks like I made a new friend! Gonna hafta' come up with a nickname for you, boy.
[He seems pleased by that, finally settling down enough so the boy can turn his full attention to the 'Gear in his hands.]
Anyways, my name's Jimmy, Jimmy Two-Shoes! I uh....wow, I've never seen a place as bright and nice as this! And the sky is blue, that's awesmazing!
[Clearly this is a kid who hasn't experienced Pokémon in any way, shape, or form....but one wonders as to why the sky should strike him as unusual.
Also yes that is a word that he may or may not have come up with because why not.]
But....could anybody out there tell me where I am, exactly? Or how I got here from Miseryville? I know the map says "New Bark Town", but...I've never heard of a place like that. ..Maybe one of Heloise's inventions sent me here and I just forgot or something...
[He shakes his head a little, laughing to himself. Jimmy might not exactly understand what's going on, but he doesn't seem to be chomping at the bit to go home or anything. He's used to strange and different creatures, so the idea of Pokémon is just something new for him to experience.
Jimmy trails off again after that, distracted by just about everything from the strangely colored sky, to the people (and someone claiming to be his...mom. Not sure what that was about, but she was nice enough. ...Not that he's ever had one.), to the Pokémon themselves. He eventually ends the feed there, the picture of an excited child with lots of questions waiting to be answered.]

You're the world of Pokemon. Enjoy your stay because you're not going back - HOME!
[Crocker shouts to the blonde child.]
[Video]
Well that's ok! I mean I'm not ready to go home just yet. This place seems pretty cool!
[Jimmy might not seem too bothered, but Electrike does perk when Crocker appears on the feed, letting out a low growl. You best not be screaming at his child.]

[She chuckles, resting her chin in one of her hands. He seems so excitable. It's kind of cute, really.]
Though is a blue sky really that strange? Then again, hailing from someplace called "Miseryville"...I can't imagine it would have had a very bright look about it.
Video;
[He gestures a little with his hands, smiling. Well if nobody knows then that's the only logical answer he can manage to come up with.]
Well, yeah! Back home the sky is red all the time. There are supposed to be two suns, too, but this place only has one for some reason!

What color is the sky where you're from then?
[He's been to planets with funky-colored skies before, nbd.]
video;
Hi John, thanks! Yeah, I guess if Heloise did cause me to end up here then she would've shown up along with me.
[He gives a short wave, and in doing so frees Electrike, who immediately sticks his nose onto the screen again. Jimmy doesn't make any attempts to drag him off this time, just letting him sniff around until he's satisfied.]
It's red!
[Red sky, red water, all that goodness.]

[Of all the things to focus on.] So excited to see even the sky... what were you, blind before this?
[video]
[...Get it? ...Awesmazing?]
And no, the sky's usually just red back home! I've never seen a blue sky before.

[ That's this random blonde's great theory apparently. Nice wizards in the sky granting them blessings, obv. ]
Do they call you Jimmy Two-Shoes 'cause you have two shoes?
[ #importantquestions ]
video;
Heheh, sweet.
...Yaknow, I never thought about it actually! I mean everyone's been calling me that for as long as I can remember....
...so I guess, yeah!

Yeah, I guesso!
[He really isn't sure where the name came from, because that's not a phrase he hears bandied about a lot in Miseryville. ..Makes sense, though.]
You can just call me Jimmy, though!

...Oi, don't listen to a damn word Saionji says. [Because you look like one of the most gullible people Souda has ever seen in his life, and he's obligated to help anybody who receives her abuse.]
There's no place called Majto, and there ain't ever gonna be. There's just these two places, Johto and Kanto.
[video] HE'LL TRY
..Course Saionji looks trustworthy enough.]
..Really? ...Well.... why would she lie to me like that?
[And try to steal his Electrike, cmon that's just mean.]
[video] but if he's a protagonist he's pretty screwed

Oh, I know. Has anyone told you about the Breeding Centre newbie deal? You can get a free egg.

[With the exception of Saionji maybe cause what the heck.]
Nice to meet you too, Aradia! Umm...well there's not much else I can think of, other than that I'm...not exactly sure where I should go next.
[...Well the Breeding Centre could be a thing.]
Oh no, nobody told me about that!

Hayner was still on Route 29 with his own Electrike sticking close.]
I wouldn't call kidnapping and shoving people in a world where they can't escape background music a nice place.
video;
Jimmy's Electrike edges a bit closer to the 'Gear, curiously eyeing Hayner's.]
Well...it's not the best thing, I agree, but that doesn't mean it has to be all bad, right? Try to make the most of it while you're here!

[Riku snorts, a wry smile lining his lips. This kid's certainly upbeat-- upbeat enough that he almost rivals Sora in terms of naive optimism.]
Surprised you're so worked up over the sky, too. It's not like it's anything special.
video
Eheh, thanks! Well I've never really seen a blue sky before! Usually it's red where I'm from!
