[The feed is a little shaky when it turns on, revealing Jimmy sitting on a couch at the Pokemon Center. He's got a jacket tied around his waist with a huge rip in one of the sleeves, and his right arm is bandaged up from the wrist to the elbow. Just behind him Ralph can be seen eyeing bandages that have been wound around his huge knuckles.

When Jimmy talks he sounds shaken, and he looks it too.]

Okay so, uh...me and Ralph just ran into something...weird. Weird as in pink-with-wings-and-weirdly-vicious kinda weird. It just showed up in the Maze and attacked both of us before we could get out. We're fine, but...I dunno if it as some kinda new Pokemon or what. Didn't get a chance to check with my 'dex or anything.

[He sighs, sharing a quick glance with Ralph before rubbing the back of his neck and looking back at the screen.]

Just watch out if you're on the routes or outside or whatever. It'll prolly go away soon like the swarms usually do and stuff, but...yaknow, I don't wanna see anyone else get hurt.

...and Molly, if you see this, please be careful.

[With that, he shuts off the feed.]

Hmm...not that I can remember, but something like it might've happened before I got here. I think Team Rocket has done some stuff to Pokemon before too, but...not really like this. Either way, it's probably a good chance that that might be what's going on.

[He's got no idea for sure, of course, but it's a good guess.]

If that's what it is, I hope it either goes away soon on its own...or someone finds out a way to help get rid of it.

It's weird though...if it was just a sickness, I feel like you'd still be able to tell what Pokemon it was, at least. I've never seen anything like what got me and Ralph.

I'm afraid I don't yet know enough about Pokemon to venture any further guesses or assumptions...

I only know that where I come from, the creatures who have magical abilities can become twisted - physically and mentally - by illness that attacks energy. And it's possible for illnesses to be created and introduced to a populace by humans...

Could it have looked unfamiliar due to deformity?

Huh...yeah, I guess you're right. I know I'd be all angry and cranky too if some kinda sickness was making my body do all sorts of weird stuff...

[It's strange...he thought it was a Furret at first, but it couldn't have been. Not with wings and as pink as it was.]

I dunno if you're on the routes or anything right now, but be real careful if you are. It had a pretty nasty bite.

It's very common, even in animals without much magical energy. Pain and distress turn them vicious. It's certainly one possibility.

Thankfully, I'm not on the routes at the moment. And I'll be quite careful on my errands in town!

Good. I think as long as you keep a Pokemon with you, you'll be okay. We were busy working and I didn't have any of mine out at the time...

[He says with a sigh as he runs a hand over the head of his Manectric who has walked over to drop his muzzle on Jimmy's leg. The Pokemon lets out a low huff before Jimmy looks back at the Gear.]

I don't think I've seen you 'round before, actually! I would've greeted you when you got here, but I've been almost too busy to check the Network lately. My name's Jimmy.

It's nice to meetcha, Ming! I promise stuff like this doesn't happen all the time, it's just uh...October is pretty crazy pretty much every year, for some reason.
