[Good morning, Johto! The first thing visible on the feed coming through is a rather close shot of Jimmy's face as he seems to be adjusting his Gear, turning it this way and that while the mic picks up his voice a tad too loudly.]

Okay, this is good. Bring it back, Clover!

["Grovyle!" a voice calls out as the Gear bounces back, quickly revealing Jimmy standing in the center of a large open field with a full belt of Pokeballs. There's a whole host of Pokemon standing behind him: a Manectric, Floatzel, and Furret on his right, and a Lopunny, Volcarona, and Goodra on his left. Every single one of them looks like they're anticipating something, the Lopunny bouncing on her paws in place while the Floatzel does the same, even occasionally punching at the air just to show off.]

Alright! Who wants to battle this morning? It's been forever since I've battled somebody in person, and I really wanna see how good you guys have trained your Pokemon! Mine are all ready for a good fight!

[All of his Pokemon give a cheer in unison, even the Grovyle on the other side of the Gear, holding it up so the video can be recorded.

Jimmy grins widely, jerking a thumb towards his chest.]

I'm in Goldenrod right now on the grounds of the Eve's Garden Circus, if you think you've got what it takes! I've got a team of my strongest Pokemon, but I've also got Pokemon at levels all across the board, if you wanna battle and haven't trained a whole lot yet.

And if you aren't in Goldenrod, I'm totally cool with flying down to Ecruteak or Azalea to meet you! Anywhere else might be a little too far to fly...but, we could always schedule something for later, too!

[Someone has gotten a liiiittle bit stir crazy lately, looks like.]

I'll be around all day, if anyone's interested!

[After he gives a short nod, the Grovyle turns off the feed.]

[Jimmy nods, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet. He’s ready to see who ends up winning this.]

_{[She puffs out a breath, then looks at the Manectric, who's been sitting loyally at her side the entire time.]}

Tricia, it's up to you.

_{[The Electric-type immediately springs to her feet, panting excitedly and wagging her tail as she trots out to meet whatever competitor Jimmy chooses to send out.]}

[Well. This is about to get interesting, because Jimmy smiles, nodding to the Manectric that's been sitting near him.]

You didn't think I'd leave you out, didja boy?

[Jimmy ruffles Leader's ears as he walks past Jimmy's legs, sniffing the air before settling into a battle stance.]

_{[She lifts a brow, not able to hold back a chuckle. WELL, WELL.]}

... Sure will be interesting to have a battle with two Manectric but no Electric-type attacks.

Think you're up for that, Trish?

_{[Tail still wagging, Tricia looks over her shoulder and barks affirmatively.]}

All right, then.

Start us off with Howl!

[Jimmy’s smirking himself at Heather’s reaction. It’s probably not the wisest choice he could have made, but he honestly couldn’t help himself. And he’s quick to respond with a command of his own, cupping his hands around his mouth.]

You use Howl too, boy!

_{[--WELL SHE CAN'T JUST LET HIM RENDER THAT HOWL USELESS...]}

Uh-- keep going!

_{[Tricia's snout remains pointed at the sky for another volley of howling.]}

......you too, Leader!

[The Manectric stops to give Jimmy a look before just...following suit, adding to the already loud chorus of electric type dog howling.]

_{[OKAY NOW IT'S JUST GETTING SILLY.]

[The two Manectric are just standing in a field yodeling and, unsurprisingly, a chorus of other howls from nearby neighborhood yards starts up. They are literally setting off every other dog Pokemon within earshot.]

[Also unsurprisingly, Heather starts to laugh.]}

[OH NO.

THIS….THIS WASN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN…

And yet, Jimmy can’t help but start laughing as well, especially since Leader’s getting caught up in the howling...and seems to have forgotten that he was using an attack. Now he’s just standing there. Howling.]

_{[Tricia has always been easily egged-on, and it's safe to say she's not even using the attack anymore, either. She is howling quite happily and her tail is going like a propeller.]

[Heather finally straightens up, wiping at her eyes.]}

--Ohooo my god... okay.

What do you say we call it a tie?

They're having too much fun. I can't justify interrupting.

Heheheh, I think that sounds like a great idea! I'd ask Leader if he thought so too, but he's kinda busy right now!

[HOWLING INTENSIFIES if that answers your question, Jimmy.]

That was a great battle, Heather! Way more entertaining than any gym battle I've had lately!

_{[Sidestepping the VERY LOUD DOGS, Heather makes her way over to Jimmy, extending a hand.]}

Heheh, I'd be lying if I disagreed. After spending the last few months trying to take down a bunch of professionals with sticks up their butts, it's nice to be reminded that battles can just be fun sometimes.

[Jimmy shakes Heather’s hand heartily, looking like he just ran a marathon and loved it.]
