Oh yeah- and everythin' went well while ya were with Crocker?

[...somehow he had a feeling you would ask about that.

What'd he do? Did he yell at ya? He ain't good with kids and small animals.

[He pauses, laughing weakly.]

He actually, uh....attacked me while we were traveling through the Ruins of Alph. Stole...one of my Pokemon. You....you responded to my message I sent out.

[Which was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment panic response on his part.]

I-it's okay though! He gave him back and everything's okay now!

[Just don't ask him to travel with Crocker alone again any time soon.]

Wait, what was you!?

[But once he gets over the initial shock, Joker's expression promptly goes dark. A bit of a clash considering his usual smiles personality.]

Did he, now... Told him not ta pull any a that one anyone in the circus, so he damn well should know better.

Yer alright? All of ya, Pokemon too.

Yeah, I'm fine! Lucius helped me out, but we couldn't get my Shroomish, Spore, back before he got away...mostly cause I sent Lucky out against his Growlithe, but he froze up.

[It was...a little sad, really. The little buizel panicked under the pressure, his usual anger just completely gone under the prospect of the very real, very sudden danger.]

I put Spore in the PC for a while...it scared him pretty bad cause he was just a baby that hatched a little while ago, but um....I think he'll be alright after a while.

I can send ya Angel and a couple a my other psychics if ya want- they're good at that emotion sorta thing. Could help the lad out and feel a bit safer, specially since Angel's basically as high as she can get.

And I'll be talkin' ta Crocker, don't you think twice I won't.

T-that's fine...Inferno and Cherry tried to help calm him down, but he wouldn't get near them or any of the others.

[Maybe he should invest in a Psychic Pokemon someday...]

Okay. I guess it's weird to say but I'm not...mad, since he did apologize, but I'm just...I dunno, confused? Like I don't know why he did that to begin with...especially since we work together, and all.

Alright, I'll send Mira and Mylo along with the Fly. Mira can talk ta ya, so if she figures out anythin', I'm sure she'll tell ya.

[Psychic Pokemon are great, but Joker might be biased there since he has Angel.]

Well, I promise ya I'll find out. No one touches anyone else in the Circus, and that's a fact.

[Hopefully it will help...putting Spore in the PC to begin with was a bit sad, since the poor thing was so scared. He almost didn't want to, but having him out was making for some sticky traveling.]

Hopefully I didn't do something to make him mad at me, or anything...but thanks.

[Mira's the one who'll really help, connected with her powers and empathy as she is, but Mylo can't hurt. For one thing, he won't go anywhere without her. For another, he's a protective sort sometimes. Hopefully it will.]

Nah, it ain't you. That much I'm sure of. I'll keep in mind not ta let him travel alone with anybody from now on.

But Jimmy, next time anythin' like that happens, call me straight away and don't dally about it, alright?

..I will, I promise. ...I'm sorry I didn't before. I just...wasn't sure what to do. And I didn't want to just say what happened over the Network where everybody could hear, either.

[Since....Crocker is still his friend, in a weird "we work together" sort of way. But of course with Jimmy it will always be a bit more than that.]

[And something in Joker finally seems to relax a little as he sighs.]

How about two of us meet up again after the next show, eh? We'll stick with each other, and I'll make sure ya don't get inta anymore trouble.

[Or, if there is trouble, Joker will then break trouble's legs.]

I'd really like that. I don't really like....traveling on my own too much anyway, if I can help it.

[And thus it is why he's been stuck in Ecruteak for a little while.]
