Feather doesn't get along with the rest of them though. I wonder if I should release her or something.

Oh, gotcha! Well...I'd say you should do what you think is best, but maybe you could give her a bit more time to get used to the others first? My second Pokemon I ever got, Lucky? He was like that. He's still pretty grumpy, but I think he's gotten used to everybody by now.
