[Those he doesn't usually let roam as free as the others, but his older Pokemon are pretty good babysitters too.

Jimmy gestures for Ashley to follow as his other Pokemon start to disperse again with Guava and Spore still staying nearby. Molotov, Jimmy's Pyroar, seems content to keep Ashley's Espurr company for now.]

C'mon, I'll show you my tent!

Okay, if you insist- uh. Eliot, you coming boy?

[She's addressing the Espurr, who has found himself positively overjoyed at the new friend. He raises his head and tilts it at her, shaking back and forth.]

Why not? Y-

[Eliot is a Psychic type. It is very clear, in that moment, that he communicated something to her, and what it was is a mystery, because suddenly Ashley clams up. But she does go rather red.]

Oh. O...kay. [Clears throat.] He- um, is it- yes, let's go. Come on.

[Jimmy turns briefly to watch Ashley as she starts to follow, his gaze following hers until he sees Eliot and Molotov over there for himself.]

Haha, aw...looks like ol' Molotov made a friend!

Yes. [Instantly and automatically.] Yes that is exactly what's happened, please show me your tent.

[Why is Eliot so weird]

[Espurr are weird, it's just fact.

Shrugging, Jimmy continues on out of the big top and towards the back exit, leading the way to a a big open space behind the tent that's clearly used for setting up for things during an actual show. There are several smaller tents set up some ways away that Jimmy starts to head toward.]

By the way, if you're ever in the area and you don't wanna stay in a hotel and wouldn't mind it, you can always stay here with me! Free of charge.

[Ashley follows, but at Jimmy's offer she almost skips a step, her face which was slowly fading back to its original color once again going red.]

[Jimmy almost doesn't catch a bit of what tumbled out of Ashley's mouth just then, but when he looks over at her, it's readily obvious that he doesn't catch her meaning at first, either.]

[After all, he let Molly stay with him all the time. Of course, Molly was also considerably younger than Ashley is.]

But anyways, here we are!! They're not all that big or anything, but I like staying in them when it's not too cold out. S'like camping almost.

I, anyway- I'm not that...into camping? I've already had enough of it and I just got here. So while I can see the appeal for someone who likes it, I'd probably pass anyway. I'm more for warm hotel beds.

I guess I like it because there's so much going on. Staying in a hotel room can get boring real quick, but it's a lot better when it's freezing outside.

[Just. Don't be him and do something to get yourself kicked out of said hotel. It's why he's forced to camp whenever he visits Violet whether he wants to or not.]

When it's time for a show, though, there's not much time to hang around the tents anyway! And by the time it's time for bed, you kindof just want to sleep wherever you happen to land when you lay down.

I can only imagine. Both this place when it's less chilly and how exhausting your shows are.

[She's felt that, but- not without the mental shock and urge to stay awake so as to avoid the horrible nightmares. You know. As you do.]

How long've you been doing this for, Jimmy? I'm still...wrapping my head around it all, you being seventeen and on your own here.

[Jimmy walks over to sit down on the edge of his cot as Ashley talks, with Leader following and hopping up onto it next to him. Lucius chooses to stay on the ground, taking a seat nearby with Guava and Spore hovering at the tent's entrance.]

How long? Well gosh...it feels like forever. But I've been pretty much doin' it ever since I got here. I didn't really like traveling alone, so when Joker offered me a place at the circus, I never left.

[He laughs, rubbing the back of his neck.]

But I mean...it's not too weird for me? I had my own house and stuff back home...but I guess we do things different there.

[Bram the Zubat's still snuggled at Ashley's neck, but her drowsy Munna settles down near Lucius, while the adventurous Litwick starts exploring the tent.]

Your own house? [Her eyebrows raise.] You...had to have been a teenager then... That's so- why? The only time- uh, if this isn't too personal a question? Or too weird of one.

[A swift, forced smile.]

I can be a little, um, nosy sometimes. Disregard anything that's too invasive, okay?

Nah, you can ask me whatever you want!

[He leans forward a little, resting his forearms on his knees. He's maybe a bit too open at times himself, but that's just how he is.]

I was fifteen when I got here, but I've had my house back home ever since I could remember. Just me and my dog Cerbee!

[That's an interesting name for a dog... Ashley just leans against the cot.]

What about your family? Your parents?

[At that, Jimmy actually pauses for a moment. It's incredibly brief, so much so that his smile never even falters as he reaches over to drape his arm over his Manectric's back, his hand rubbing the top of his head.]

Oh, I live by myself back home. I don't have any parents or anything.

[Ashley covers her mouth with her hand to stifle a gasp.]

O- oh, um. Oh, I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- I-I won't ask about it anymore, okay?

[Of course Jimmy wouldn't think this was weird if he was a life-long orphan.]

[Jimmy has to consciously stop himself from laughing, because Ashley has probably apologized to him more times today than he can count on both hands. But he knows that this is a sensitive topic for a lot of people. For him, it's just...never been a factor.]

It's okay. It's not that big of a deal. I mean, I still have my friends back home, so it's not like I'm totally by myself or anything! And I like to think that Lucy is kindof like my dad, even though he's my best friend's dad.

[Just normal for Ashley. Foot-in-mouth, insistent apologies to try and make up for it.]

I...suppose that makes sense... As long as you have someone looking out for you there. A-and here, right?

Right! To be honest...where I live is kindof weird. Like, it's not really the same as a lot of places people live. It's real similar, but it's also really different, too. And a lot of things I get to see here- like snow- I never get to see back home.

Oh. Oh, so you live somewhere really hot? [HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA] We don't really get snow where I live either.

When I first got here, I wasn't used to it being cold at all. It was a good thing I had lots of fire types or else I don't think I would've survived.
