[It's starting to get a bit late when a video will appear on the network, with the feed coming through being exceedingly dark. It's begun to get dark out but the sun is still setting, giving the surroundings an orange tint to them. There's a muffled stir over the feed as the view is shifted upwards a bit, finally giving the view of one Jimmy Two-Shoes, completely surrounded with Pokémon.

There's a Bloober stuck to the tree he's leaning against, slowly glooping it's way up and down and all around the trunk, leaving a trail of slime in it's wake. A Sentret is on his shoulders with her tail wrapped around his neck, a Buizel sitting with his back to Jimmy's side, and his starter Electrike lying across his lap. He's got his sleeping bag out, but he's sitting on top of it instead of actually getting in it. Apparently, sleeping bags aren't a one-size-fits-all deal, especially when you're just shy of being over six feet tall.

Also, while the evening might be nice for most, it's a lot colder than Jimmy's at all used to. A lot. Back home every day promised sweltering heat that was nearly unbearable, and on top of that he's not really dressed for being outside at night besides. In spite of all of this, Jimmy's not frowning- it's more of a half-smile grimace as he tries to lock his jaw to keep his teeth from chattering as he adjusts the 'Gear in his hands.]

Is...um. ...

[Maybe he should have thought about what he was going to say before...just making a video, but whatever.]

Is anyone around to, uh....talk, maybe? ...N-nothing's wrong or anything, just um....

[The boy shifts slightly and pulls his legs a bit closer to himself, causing Cherry to stir and curl a bit tighter around his neck and shoulders.]

S'been uh....kinda quiet on this Route today, yaknow? ...

[He laughs a little before reaching back with one hand to brush his hair back. After another moment or two the feed cuts.]

That makes sense, I think. Though there's one thing I gotta ask, John...cause that gets me thinking.

Does that mean that, if Heloise or Beezy or nobody else from home shows up here...does that mean they know I'm missing back home?

From what we can tell? No. From what we can tell, whenever somebody leaves their homeworld, time just kind of...stops? It's like somebody pressed pause while you were gone.

There are and have been a lot of people from my world here and nobody ever shows up claiming that something radically different happened back home because somebody was missing. It's...weird but eh. [SHRUG.]

Really weird....but prolly better... I'd be worried if I knew everybody back home was worried about me being missing.

[Jimmy, "everybody" is a bit of a stretch.]

Haha, nah don't worry. Whenever one of your friends finally shows up you'll probably get a "what do you mean you've been here x number of months I was just talking to you an hour ago!!" or something along those lines.

Well that's good to hear! ...Well, for me I guess. I really hope they show up soon, then, but for now I'll just keep an eye out for them.

I'll try and keep an eye out too. Helouise and Beezy, you said, right? Just two people?

Yeah! Well, there's Lucy- Beezy's dad- and Samy....Jez, Molotov..

[He counts off on his fingers as he prattles off the names.]

But Heloise and Beezy are my best friends, so if they show up they'll prolly be looking for me anyway!

[Those...sure are some names there. A man named Lucy? Molotov?]

I see...what are they like? Your best friends, I mean.

[YES AND YES. Only Lucy's name is actually Lucius, and Molotov's....well, no, he's still Molotov. Major Molotov, if you want to get technical.]

Ah, well...Heloise is about this tall-

[Giving a gesture that seems to be vaguely around four feet, almost two heads shorter than he happens to be.]

Dark blonde, wears a red cloak... and Beezy's a lot taller, red, horns and a tail-

[MORE GESTURING because clearly this Beezy fellow isn't exactly someone who's human.]

And they're both really great! Heloise is a scientist so she builds all sorts of cool inventions and machines all the time, and Beezy is Lucy's son, who is kinda the ruler of the town.

Oh man...if Heloise shows up, you'll have to let me introduce her to my sister. She's a scientist too, she'd flip to have somebody to talk to about all that stuff.

[Somebody who isn't him because he's not that crazy about science. Unless it's science that involves ghost slime.]

[Or computer science. Computer science is also pretty okay.]

And your friend Beezy sounds interesting...is he some kind of alien or something?
