[The video feed starts up with some audible, muffled snickering as Jimmy turns his Gear around to face himself. It looks like he's crouched on his knees next to a cot in a tent, presumably one of the ones set up for the circus performers in Goldenrod. He's whispering with amusement clear in his tone.]

Guys- guys. Check out Cypress.

[He turns the Gear around to show a fat little Bulbasaur sitting on a pillow on the cot, watching his trainer curiously as he tips his head to one side. For a moment he doesn't do anything but sit there...until he jerks and hiccups. His ears fall back as a low growl starts up in his throat, his eyes shifting from side to side.

Hic. ...grrrrr.

Hic. ...grrrrrRRRR.

After a third time he turns his head and paws a little at the air, the hiccups nearly hitting him with enough force to cause him to tumble over. He is a baby, after all. Basically, there's a lot of this happening (sans barking. maybe) and Jimmy can barely hold back the giggles while he watches.

He doesn't let it go on forever, though, and eventually shifts to sit on the edge of the bed, pulling the still aggressively hiccuping Bulbasaur into his lap.]

You guys know of any good ways to get rid of the hiccups?

[Jimmy puts a hand on Cypress' head just as he hiccups again, petting him when he starts growling.]

Haha, nope! I don't think he does. He's never had the hiccups before.

My Eevee, Kit, had hiccups really bad a few days ago. If you can get him to hold still I found asking him to drink fro the wrong side of the bowl helps.

[He digs around in his bag, and holds up his water bowl, tilting it slightly- if it wasn't empty it's be leaking.]

See if you can get him to try and drink from the far end. The effort of having to focus on your breathing and drink at the same time helps reset the diaphragm. Water WILL get everywhere though.

Huh! I'll try that, thanks! I don't think he can fight them much longer, anyways.

[Just as he says that, Cypress paws at the air again, glaring at some far off corner of the tent.

Wherever that annoying...thing is coming from, he will find it.]

Either way, it's... kinda adorable.

[Jimmy nods in agreement, petting the Pokemon's head again in an attempt to help him calm down.]

Uh-huh! Kinda reminds me of Buster when he was a Lillipup...he'd chase stuff in his sleep.

Considering they have powers they are pretty much just like regular animals. It's amazing when you think of it.

Yeah! They're not all that different from animals back home, really...though, most of the ones I know don't have powers.

[Though, most animals don't look like what Jimmy's currently picturing, either.]

Animals back home have abilities they need to survive. Makes me wonder what started the need to breath fire and read minds. I mean, I have a fossil pokemon, so this musta happened in prehistoric times...

Gosh, that's true...you think this place must've been real dangerous at one time? Or maybe hard to live in?

I would guess so. It's amazing humans managed to survive at all.

Yeah, no kidding. But most Pokemon don't seem to be too aggressive toward people...so there's that, at least.
