[The video feed starts up with some audible, muffled snickering as Jimmy turns his Gear around to face himself. It looks like he's crouched on his knees next to a cot in a tent, presumably one of the ones set up for the circus performers in Goldenrod. He's whispering with amusement clear in his tone.]

Guys- guys. Check out Cypress.

[He turns the Gear around to show a fat little Bulbasaur sitting on a pillow on the cot, watching his trainer curiously as he tips his head to one side. For a moment he doesn't do anything but sit there...until he jerks and hiccups. His ears fall back as a low growl starts up in his throat, his eyes shifting from side to side.

Hic. ...grrrrr.

Hic. ...grrrrrRRRR.

After a third time he turns his head and paws a little at the air, the hiccups nearly hitting him with enough force to cause him to tumble over. He is a baby, after all. Basically, there's a lot of this happening (sans barking. maybe) and Jimmy can barely hold back the giggles while he watches.

He doesn't let it go on forever, though, and eventually shifts to sit on the edge of the bed, pulling the still aggressively hiccuping Bulbasaur into his lap.]

You guys know of any good ways to get rid of the hiccups?

Or holding your breath... but I'm not sure if Cypress can do that for long.

[ Hiccups are a mystery. Naminé's never had them, but they sure look unpleasant. ]

... I'm not sure why that is, either.

Mhm. I was thinking that, too...but it might not be the best idea to try.

[He's a bit scared to do too much to him, since he's still so small.]

It's weird, usually you like...get 'em when you drink a soda or eat too fast? But he was trying to sleep and just...started hiccuping all of a sudden.

I think you're right. I hope they'll just... pass.

[ Huh. Naminé's definitely not well-versed in the world of hiccups, so she's learning something new, at least! ]

He could've, I guess! He's kindof a heavy sleeper, snores a little and all...so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened.

[He's hiccuping even as Jimmy talks, twitching and pawing at the air or his muzzle now and then.]

[ Naminé nods, giving Cypress a little wave. ]

Hello, Cypress. I'm sorry I can't help you more--it must be so uncomfortable for you.

[The Bulbasaur perks when he hears his name, watching Naminé with large, blue eyes. He has a few seconds of peace before he hiccups again, but instead of batting at the air he just gives another soft growl while Jimmy strokes his head.]

Don't worry, I think he'll be alright. They only last a few minutes when I get them, and just an hour or two if they're real bad for some reason.

[ Well, she'd thought the hiccups had subsided. Then-- ]

Oh!

[ A little laugh, and Naminé nods. ]

Well... it's good they don't last very long. Oh-- I'm Naminé.

Oh, gosh...a lot. I have a lot of fire types, though electric types are my favorite. I started with an Electrike, and he's a Manectric now.

It's been a year for me, since February!

I really have mostly normal types, but... I would love to have a fire type.

Well... I think I would really like a Growlithe.

Growlithe are great Pokemon. I've never trained one, but I've got a lot of friends who have them, or have had them before. I think that's a great choice!

They do seem very popular. I've been looking for one... but I haven't found one yet.

Keep an eye out on the network! People are usually breeding pretty often, and Growlithe eggs do come up a lot.

I've noticed there are a lot of eggs available often. Do you breed your Pokémon at all, Jimmy?

Well...I'm not a breeder, but some of mine did have eggs, once. It wasn't...planned.

[He came home to a hotel room filled with eggs, basically.]

But I prolly wouldn't mind breeding again, sometime!

I don't think a lot of eggs are planned. It just happens if they... like each other a lot?

I'd like to try it, but I'm not sure I'd be very good at it.

I'd say go for it! Though, some Pokemon can't breed...it all depends on what breeding group they're in. I don't know a whole bunch about how that works myself, though, so you might be better off askin' an actual breeder.

I'm not sure who I would ask.

Could always just ask the Network, if you're not sure! You'd prolly get lots of breeders wanting to talk to you about what they do, if you did.
