[It's a bright, sunny day on the road to Viridian City. It's also pretty devoid of trainers at the moment, save for Jimmy and Joker as they make their way to town. This is pretty inconvenient, given the fact that Jimmy's feeling very cheerful at the moment, but it isn't just your average, everyday Jimmy brand cheerfulness.

Oh no. He's singing. He is singing at the top of his lungs as he walks with his Gear in hand, pointed up at himself.

There is a Chatot perched on Jimmy's shoulder, and every time the song switches into the parts requiring strictly whistling, he points the Gear over at him and lets him take over. Not because he doesn't want to, of course, but because he literally can't whistle. Having a permanent gap in your teeth does that to you, unfortunately. But by god is he singing the singing parts.]

Come ooon and give a whistle! Let me hear you whistle! I know you can whistle! Everybody whistle!~

[And right on cue, Paco the Chatot extends his wings out to the side and whistles his little heart out for his trainer.]

[Jimmy catches on to the beat boxing right away, but he doesn't tell Paco to stop whistling. Not that he would have had to, anyway. The little Chatot continues to sing his heart out without ceasing as Jimmy hums along until they've exhausted the rest of the chorus.]

Yaknow, I bet we could start up a band if we really wanted! Maybe one more member to round out the group and we'd be good!

[He's probably kidding, but who knows honestly.]

I dunno, J.T., could you handle being in an honest-to-god nineties throwback boy band and maintain your lucrative career in the circus? You gotta consider the time management, man. There's logistics.

I could totally try! And if that didn't work, we could always make the band a part of the Circus! Maybe like a side-act!

Me and my friend Joker have been traveling through Kanto for the last couple months! I always love the snow, but I'm more used to it being real hot, personally...so I'm looking forward to summer finally getting here again. Did you know that we had snow last August?

Ugh, yeah, someone mentioned it to me a while ago. Why can't I have lava geography again, lava was fucking awesome.

Here's where normally I'd insert some kind of self-aggrandizing and factually inaccurate bullshit, but since probably there are people here who could pull off that kind of carpentry--what's the verb for that, carpent?--I'll be straight with you. There were weird sci-fi machines where I came from that we were basically dependent on for procuring pretty much every item you can think of.

Coool! Gosh, I bet Heloise would love to study something like that...she pretty much builds things like that for a living. Yaknow, different inventions that can make or do lots of different things!
