[After traveling for several days to get to Vermillion City, Jimmy hasn't really had a chance to check the Network or his PC much. But upon arriving to town early in the morning, the first thing he'd gone to do was check his PC to switch out some of his team and...

Well. There's only one reason you find a friend's Pokemon in your possession, isn't there? A quick attempt at a call confirms his worst fears. He left to go on a trip, promising he'd be back soon. He didn't even get to say goodbye.

It takes him a little while, but he eventually makes a video from a seat on the couch inside the Pokemon Center (since he hasn't actually left yet). There's a pokeball in his hands, but he hasn't had the heart to release what's inside yet.

For the first time in a long time, Jimmy Two-Shoes looks...genuinely upset.]

Molly's gone home.

[His grip on the ball shifts a little. When he looks back up he forces a smile, strained and maybe a little too wide.]

If you got any of her Pokemon, lemme know, okay? I'm not gonna take 'em, I just...wanna make sure they're alright.

Thanks.

[And that's it.]

[He doesn't feel like eating right now all that much, but he does nod anyway. His eventual hunger will outweigh his desire to eat no matter what he does, but he at least won't go anywhere while Joker is gone.]

[It doesn't take long before Joker comes back, fingers rubbing together again.]

Far as I can tell, no other new additions ta the Circus.

Okay. I guess I'll keep an eye out on the Network, see if they've shown up anywhere else.

If they haven't, though...they'd just be in the wild somewhere, right?

Well, I suppose so... I feel like I've hearda someone findin' a Pokemon on theirs when they came back, or some such thing.

And Johto has its problems from time ta time, but it's a good place, yeah? I'm sure they're safe and sound.

Yeah...no, I know. You're right. They gotta be fine, I mean...Pokemon are pretty tough on their own and all.

It just...sucks, cause like...what if she came back, yaknow?

Then I'm sure they'll find her again.

[He clasps Jimmy's shoulder firmly.]

Molly's...a really tough girl anyways. She'll be okay back home.

[At least until she comes back. If she does.]

That's right. Whatever'll happen back home for her, she'll weather it fine.
