[After traveling for several days to get to Vermillion City, Jimmy hasn't really had a chance to check the Network or his PC much. But upon arriving to town early in the morning, the first thing he'd gone to do was check his PC to switch out some of his team and...

Well. There's only one reason you find a friend's Pokemon in your possession, isn't there? A quick attempt at a call confirms his worst fears. He left to go on a trip, promising he'd be back soon. He didn't even get to say goodbye.

It takes him a little while, but he eventually makes a video from a seat on the couch inside the Pokemon Center (since he hasn't actually left yet). There's a pokeball in his hands, but he hasn't had the heart to release what's inside yet.

For the first time in a long time, Jimmy Two-Shoes looks...genuinely upset.]

Molly's gone home.

[His grip on the ball shifts a little. When he looks back up he forces a smile, strained and maybe a little too wide.]

If you got any of her Pokemon, lemme know, okay? I'm not gonna take 'em, I just...wanna make sure they're alright.

[Naki's seated in one of the rooms in his house and for once, the video doesn't have entirely too many squids in it. He looks pretty serious.]

[He didn't know Molly, but he knows how fucked up he's gotten when his friends have been sent home.]

...Looks like disappearance season has started again. Want me to keep an eye out for any Pokémon that might have fled towards the wilderness instead of finding new trainers?

[Joker had just gone out to pick up something fastfood and unhealthy for dinner, because what's going to a hotel first? It's common for him, when he's waiting in line or just bored, to flicker through his 'Gear to see if anything new has shown up.]

[And that's when he sees Jimmy's message.]

[He makes a beeline right back for the Center, one of the more behaved Pyroar on his team carrying the food in her mouth, and he walks up to the younger boy to put his hand on his shoulder.]

'ey, Jims.

[ ... she's too upset to run a video to reply. ]

I'm SO sorry, Jimmy! She was your friend, wasn't she?
