[In sharp contrast to a video Jimmy posted earlier in the month, Jimmy decides to make a quick post rather...early in the morning because OH MY GOD IT'S CHRISTMAS. He's sitting on a bed in a hotel room with three Furrets coiled all around him, each one wearing a different colored body scarf. One of them has her head in Jimmy's lap, another has his pink head jammed beneath one of Jimmy's arms, and the third seems to be making noises that sound a whole lot like a revving motor boat.]

Merry Christmas Kanto, Johto, and everywhere else in the world! I hope you guys have a great day, no matter what you celebrate! It's been snowing all week, even all the way over here in Fuschia City. Is it snowing where you are right now? Hopefully you'll be able to stay warm!

[Seems like Jimmy just wanted to make a video for the express purpose of wishing everyone a happy holiday, but that's not unusual.]

[The feed is a little shaky when it turns on, revealing Jimmy sitting on a couch at the Pokemon Center. He's got a jacket tied around his waist with a huge rip in one of the sleeves, and his right arm is bandaged up from the wrist to the elbow. Just behind him Ralph can be seen eyeing bandages that have been wound around his huge knuckles.

When Jimmy talks he sounds shaken, and he looks it too.]

Okay so, uh...me and Ralph just ran into something...weird. Weird as in pink-with-wings-and-weirdly-vicious kinda weird. It just showed up in the Maze and attacked both of us before we could get out. We're fine, but...I dunno if it as some kinda new Pokemon or what. Didn't get a chance to check with my 'dex or anything.

[He sighs, sharing a quick glance with Ralph before rubbing the back of his neck and looking back at the screen.]

Just watch out if you're on the routes or outside or whatever. It'll prolly go away soon like the swarms usually do and stuff, but...yaknow, I don't wanna see anyone else get hurt.

...and Molly, if you see this, please be careful.

[With that, he shuts off the feed.]

[OOC: This is a joint post between both Jimmy and Ralph, so expect tags from either/or or both! And if you want to do action, Jimmy and Ralph are in the midst of getting patched up after their horrible Clefurret encounter.]

[It's actually a nice day out, today, and that's evident in this video when it starts. Several days of rain made for unpleasant traveling, but Jimmy was fine with staying in Azalea for a bit longer. It's a sleepy little town that he actually finds quite pleasant. He'd been so used to things just constantly happening, back home, so having long stretches of downtime like this had the tendency to make him restless. Traveling with someone helped to alleviate that, at least.

The dappled shadows cast across Jimmy's face and shoulders indicate how large the tree he's lounging under is, his Furret curled around his back to serve as a fuzzy cushion. He's not wearing his jacket for once since the rain finally decided to leave for a day, left in his usual green T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. The shirt is obviously not the same as the one he arrived in, if the pokeball insignia on the pocket is anything to go by.

Next to him in the grass is a Treecko, peering up at him with wide, yellow eyes. She seems to be running on the idea that if she can't see Jimmy, he can't see her, making her perfectly camouflaged in the grass and at a perfect angle to pounce playfully on his fingers when he's not looking. He doesn't seem to mind it, though, wiggling them a little to encourage her as she rolls over with a squeak before bounding off and to hide in the taller grass again.

Jimmy seems a little subdued today. Not unhappy or upset at all, just...thoughtful. It's a little unusual for him, but he's had a lot of time to think while on the road again. He never aged back home, so now that a year's gone by, time really seems to be flying in Johto.

After a moment he talks, not looking at the screen just yet.]

So there's somethin' I've been wondering about, lately. Back home in Miseryville, I never really...

[He pauses, trying to find the right words.]

...I never really did anything, yaknow? Like I mean- my friend Heloise worked as an inventor and helped design pretty much all the products sold back home. My friend Beezy...well, he didn't do much either, but his dad rules everything so he's gonna end up taking his job one day anyway, so he doesn't really have to do anything yet, I guess. Molotov's a body guard, Samy's a secretary guy...

I did have little jobs sometimes. Like, I was a product tester once...and then I worked as a cook at a restaurant for a little while. But other than stuff like that, I never really had anything I was known for. I guess it's just kinda weird to think about that, since I work with the Circus here...that's pretty much what I've done since I got here.

So, I guess I wanted to ask you guys what you do, back home? Did you have any cool jobs or businesses that you ran? Maybe just a hobby or something? If you wanna talk to me about it, I'm not really doing anything today.

[He turns to watch the Treecko jump at his hand again before switching off the feed.]

[The video feed starts up with some audible, muffled snickering as Jimmy turns his Gear around to face himself. It looks like he's crouched on his knees next to a cot in a tent, presumably one of the ones set up for the circus performers in Goldenrod. He's whispering with amusement clear in his tone.]

Guys- guys. Check out Cypress.

[He turns the Gear around to show a fat little Bulbasaur sitting on a pillow on the cot, watching his trainer curiously as he tips his head to one side. For a moment he doesn't do anything but sit there...until he jerks and hiccups. His ears fall back as a low growl starts up in his throat, his eyes shifting from side to side.

Hic. ...grrrrr.

Hic. ...grrrrrRRRR.

After a third time he turns his head and paws a little at the air, the hiccups nearly hitting him with enough force to cause him to tumble over. He is a baby, after all. Basically, there's a lot of this happening (sans barking. maybe) and Jimmy can barely hold back the giggles while he watches.

He doesn't let it go on forever, though, and eventually shifts to sit on the edge of the bed, pulling the still aggressively hiccuping Bulbasaur into his lap.]

You guys know of any good ways to get rid of the hiccups?

[Anyone who knows Jimmy Two-Shoes might be surprised that an accidental video hadn't popped up on the Network from his 'Gear before. When the feed flickers on there's a rather flattering shot of someone's paw where they stepped right on the thing, before it gets kicked across the floor a little on accident, accompanied by rapid chattering. As the screen is jostled around it shows a dizzying view of a hotel room for a minute before it settles on the doorway.

After a moment, a pair of black sneakers step over the threshold, followed at the heels by a prancing Jolteon. The sound of rustling plastic can be heard, like someone is carrying a few plastic bags.]

Hey guys! I'm- ...wooooooooooah!

[The bags abruptly drop to the floor as the shoes disappear with quick steps into the room, and from a distance Jimmy can be heard, "Sweet corn, what happened?!" There's a fair bit of rustling and moving around that goes on before the abandoned 'Gear is ever noticed, a shot of a hand descending from on high showing before Jimmy finally picks it up and levels it on himself.

In the background behind him, his bedspread is covered with eggs. A Furfrou is curled up with two of them, and a Houndoom stands awkwardly next to a Braixen looking as if he has no idea what just happened, what are you talking about. The soft chattering betrays that there might be others in here that can't be seen offscreen, and that's made evident when two Volcarona sidle up to Jimmy's sides with happy chirps, one of them nudging her face against his arm as he tries to focus the video.]

Oh- oh it's on already? Uuhh....does anybody want some eggs? Maybe a couple? Um...I've never tried to breed before, so I wasn't actually trying to-

[Jimmy sighs, lowering the Gear with his expression twisting a bit with confusion.]

Lucky? You too?

[FLOA FLOATZEL FLOAFLO-

And then Jimmy turns off the feed there.]

[Now that prom has mostly wound down, Jimmy has found himself back with the rest of Joker's circus group, waiting for the next location they were to head off to. He had spent the better part of the day just exploring the massive town, along with stopping in the department store to have a look around for a bit. On the video that appears he can be seen lounging on a couch in the Pokémon Center, his Furret lying with him with her long body stretched out behind him and curled around like a giant furry pillow.]

Mornin'! So, did everyone have a good time at prom this past weekend? I know I sure did!

[Gracious, one would wonder if this kid ever runs out of energy. Even now after all that excitement he seems to have steam to spare, and then some.]

I had a really great time. And things went pretty well, yeah? Hopefully we'll have another one, next year. [GEE, SOMEONE MISSED POOLGATE. Or is just electing to not make mention of it for so many reasons.]

[He turns the camera down to his feet where Leader is lying with his head on his paws, watching the people come and go in the Center; he's no longer Electrike, but Manectric.]

-Leader evolved! So I think we'll be ready to finally challenge Falkner, once we swing back 'round Violet City.

Oh, also- has anyone been able to train their...well, guess I can't call them Bloobers anymore...Goomies more, yet? I'm kinda excited to figure out what other moves they can learn and stuff.

[He reaches back to rub behind Cherry's ears before shutting off the feed. If anyone wants to find him he probably won't be going anywhere any time soon, since he's actually waiting for Lucky to return from his trip to the Center to recover from yet more battling because of course he is. Jimmy's Larvesta and Eevee are on the floor, playing around their trainer's feet and legs, occassionally using Leader as an eternally patient jungle gym.]

[When the feed begins, anyone tuning in to the Network is going to be graced with a nose curiously sniffing at the 'Gear, which nearly drowns out the barely detectable sound of someone cheerily humming to the ever present background music that happens to accompany New Bark Town and just about everywhere besides. The humming stops before the creature behind said nose is gently pulled away, revealing the cheery face of a boy who couldn't be much older than 15. He sits with the 'Gear held against his knees, a bright, gap-toothed grin on his face as he shifts into a more comfortable position with his back to a tree.

Sitting in his lap is a rather fluffy Electrike who seems overly curious with just about everything the boy is doing. So much so, in fact, that he has to put a hand on the Pokémon's head to get him to sit still long enough so he can talk.]

Beezy! Heloise! Are you guys around? Can you hear me-?

[The Electrike lets out a low, playful growl and bumps his head against the bottom of the boy's chin, causing him to laugh and trial off before he can continue.]

Heheh, looks like I made a new friend! Gonna hafta' come up with a nickname for you, boy.

[He seems pleased by that, finally settling down enough so the boy can turn his full attention to the 'Gear in his hands.]

Anyways, my name's Jimmy, Jimmy Two-Shoes! I uh....wow, I've never seen a place as bright and nice as this! And the sky is blue, that's awesmazing!

[Clearly this is a kid who hasn't experienced Pokémon in any way, shape, or form....but one wonders as to why the sky should strike him as unusual.

Also yes that is a word that he may or may not have come up with because why not.]

But....could anybody out there tell me where I am, exactly? Or how I got here from Miseryville? I know the map says "New Bark Town", but...I've never heard of a place like that. ..Maybe one of Heloise's inventions sent me here and I just forgot or something...

[He shakes his head a little, laughing to himself. Jimmy might not exactly understand what's going on, but he doesn't seem to be chomping at the bit to go home or anything. He's used to strange and different creatures, so the idea of Pokémon is just something new for him to experience.

Jimmy trails off again after that, distracted by just about everything from the strangely colored sky, to the people (and someone claiming to be his...mom. Not sure what that was about, but she was nice enough. ...Not that he's ever had one.), to the Pokémon themselves. He eventually ends the feed there, the picture of an excited child with lots of questions waiting to be answered.]
