[After they've all woken up from ... from whatever those dreams were, the actual reality takes a little while to get used to. The dreams had been so vivid it was like they'd never been asleep at all.]
[Molly feels kind of tired for that reason, but she also feels on edge and a little sick. Not all the dreams had been bad, but she'd been stuck again. And that makes her feel vulnerable and uncertain.]
[Jimmy had told her she could always talk to him. And that she shouldn't feel like she's ever bothering him. So after she's checked the network and texted a handful of people and checked on all her pokémon, she goes to find him.]
[She just kind of comes up next to him without announcing herself and stands close, leaning very subtly into his arm as she looks up at him.]
[Jimmy isn't bothered at all by Molly's sudden presence and in fact has pretty much come to expect it by now. He looks down at her from where he had been watching some of his newly hatched Pokemon play together nearby with a slight smile.]
[It's a little more avoidant answer than normal, but then again, that's probably something he's gotten to see a bit too often since she came to stay with him. There's a slight frown as she answers him though, something thoughtful and altogether not that happy, even as she looks at the pokémon after a moment too.]
[It takes a while for Tobias to reach out again, partly because he's busy and partly because he's not sure what to say to Jimmy right now. His dream got weirdly personal, and he doesn't want to make Jimmy uncomfortable, but he also doesn't want to just leave him alone.]
[Good news is that Jimmy's not all that busy himself, today. He's got some things to do to help Joker out for the circus, but otherwise he's been pretty free.]
[So her lizard hatched late last night and Molly's all kinds of ecstatic about it, and the obvious next step is to show Jimmy when she runs into him next. Mohinder the Helioptile has found a cute habit of winding around her hands and fingers, so she keeps both hands behind her back with him happily holding onto her wrist when she goes up to Jimmy, all sunny smiles.]
[Jimmy had been helping clean up after the events of the circus were all done. It was mostly finished save for a few extra things that needed packing, but he's quick to turn away from what he's doing when Molly calls out to him.
He grins down at her, putting his hands on his knees.]
A LETTER: Written in hurried, but fancy handwriting on the backs of a couple of Skellington House flyers.
Dear Jimmy,
Hello, my little helper! The subject of this letter is both happy and sad. I write this on my way out the door in more ways than one. It is one of those strange days when the world is turned on its head and a doorway home has opened for me. I miss so much about home--not to say that this isn't my home as well, but there is so much I need to do. I cannot stay. I'm glad to have met you! You are a fantastic scare actor and if it weren't for you, last Halloween would have had far more bumps in the night. And not the good kind.
I cannot stand the thought of leaving this world without someone to carry on in my footsteps, to bring Halloween to the people and fill them with terrible joy and fear. I have chosen you, my little helper.
By the power vested in me, I declare you a Pumpkin Knight.
I leave you all of Skellington House and whatever spirits still reside there once I have passed from this world to the next. May you always have a place to come home to. Use it as you see fit. My only wish is for you to open it to the public on Halloween night and continue the tradition I have started. Joker will help you. Envy is phenomenal with costumes and make up. Accept help from anyone who has a strong spirit and pay them well. I have enclosed a set of complete floor plans, a key, and a helpful guide. She is a little temperamental, but feed her ego and she'll never steer you wrong.
I must go now! Behave yourself, Jimmy.
Sincerely, Jack Skellington, Pumpkin King of Halloween
GIFT:
>A heavy silver skeleton key. It opens any door within Skellington House >A whopping three story mansion with several hidden passsages, a sprawling hedge maze, and a half finished underground labyrinth. >A cranky Murkrow named Edgar.
Oh, hi Perry! Molly and I are past Cianwood at the Safari Zone right now, and I'm not sure when we'll be back, but I'll be sure to let you know when we are! I hope you like it in Goldenrod! It's huuuge, so you'll have lots of stuff to do there.
[Weirdly enough, Jimmy doesn't actually answer right away, even though he's usually prompt when it comes to messages to his Gear. Especially now with A) Circus and Halloween stuff going on and B) his concern for his bitten friends staying comfortably in the red.
When he answers he's even holding his Gear a bit strangely, not even looking at the screen directly as one hand furiously rubs at his not-bandaged arm, and what little of his expression can be seen in view of the camera looking pretty frazzled.]
Y-yeah? Ralph? Sorry I- took me a minute to get back to you, uh-

[How freaking nice is Jimmy Two-Shoes? His name is literally Jimmy Two-Shoes, what the heck. Not only did he fly her there - kind of fun, honestly, flying on the back of a Pokémon - but her hotel room's paid and provided for, even though it's...quite expensive. There's definitely a new inspiration for her to get into battling, much to Agatha's joy...
Today, they're meeting up outside the hotel, and he's going to show her around Goldenrod City, which...yeah, she has to admit, is kind of cool at first glance. Her Pokémon sure seem to like it, the four of them she has with her. Yes, four, because she awoke to a surprise this morning, that being the Trauma Friend Munna hatching from his egg. Hopefully Jimmy won't mind her little parade of small creatures, what with the Zubat snuggled into her neck and the Espurr staring at the sun and the Litwick looking for water-types to fight and the Munna just...floating there.
A fun team.
In any case. Here she is, waiting, stifling a yawn. (Yeesh, she can't wait to test out her Munna's powers.)]
[If Ashley was worried that Jimmy would have a problem with her gaggle of 'mons following her around, then she'll be pleasantly surprised when she sees him approaching the hotel from the distance. Incidentally, he'd been spending most of his morning checking up on Jack's Mansion along with all of the resident ghosts inside since they'd been left alone while he was traveling. Now, he's got his trusty Manectric partner trotting at his side while his Houndoom quietly pads along at the other. He thought about bringing more of his companions with him to meet Ashley, but...well, best not overdo it.
He pulls his hand from his pocket and gives her a wave in greeting once he and his canines venture close enough, a wide smile spreading across his face.]
[This has not been a good morning for Envy so far.]
[So assuming Jimmy picks up Envy's constantly ringing 'Gear, he'll get to see himself looking uncharacteristically grouchy and clutching his forehead.]
[Envy isn't as used to being in a whole lot of different bodies anymore, and Jimmy is way too tall. He keeps smacking his head on everything that he'd normally be able to walk right under.]
Jimmy? Is this Jimmy, do you have my body? Who has my body?
[YEAH, UH...Jimmy's been having A Morning, we'll just leave it at that. Thankfuly, it seems that he woke up alone...in a house that's at least familiar, but definitely not his.]
Envy? ...oh sweet corn.
[He leans in close to the Gear, revealing Envy's own shocked face staring back at him.]
[After a bit following the aftermath of the festival since Joker left the circus under Jimmy's care, he's since come back to things. However, unlike all his usual times, it's not with a bright grin on his face. He still smiles and huffs out a laugh now and then, but everything seems more reserved as he quickly dives back into all his circus work. The place needs to be maintained, after all, and really he's left it alone for too long considering October has been looming on the horizon for some time now.]
[Perhaps the best indicator of Joker's emotional state, however, is Angel. They've always been a matching pair in that way and anyone who knows them knows to look at Angel to see what he's really thinking. Her empathetic powers make her a bit of a menace that way. When Joker is laughing and smiling, she often is too. When he's a bit wary, she frowns and puts her hands on her hips.]
[Lately.... she's been just as quiet as her trainer. It doesn't seem like it's been in a bad way, not necessarily. There have been the occasional frowns, and sometimes she looks so tired that she wants to cry, but mostly it's been... contemplative, maybe.]
[It's been around a month, but soon Jimmy gets this message on his Gear.]
